Welcome to Dharma Reef. Dharma is a Sanskrit word central to a number of oriental philosophies which refers to the underlying laws and order in nature and the human conduct considered to be in accordance with that order. As reefkepers, we necessarily develop a heightened awareness of the natural laws in our endeavor to replicate a reef ecosystem in little glass boxes. It is my hope and aspiration to share my own developing sense of awe and respect for even the simplist of creatures that comprise the rich diversity of the worlds reefs and therein to help people to recognize that "intelligence" pervades throughout all of creation. It is imperative that we respect and abide by these laws whether in the management of our home systems as well as with regards to the oceans reefs and other ecosystems. Thank you for dropping by.
